Sundays are meant for fun and friendships, so I decided to invite my closest girlfirends to High Tea in Style at the Grand Hyatt. High Tea in Style features our new High Tea menu especially created in collaboration with our Melbourne hotel partner. From delectable savoury delights to exquisite sweet treats, you will be sure to be impressed with the abundance and visual splendor of decadent gourmet food all delicately served on our Cristina Re 24-carat-gold designer teaware.
Some of my favorite cold savoury tastes served to my table included the assortment of inari and sushi rolls, spanner crab tea sandwiches and wild mushroom choux buns. From the hot kitchen buffet I most enjoyed prawn gyozas, lamb skewers and potato croquettes, just to name a few.
When it came to dessert, I started off with the melt in your mouth scones in keeping with English tradition. I then slowly made my way through the array of decadent sweet delights to make sure I enjoyed a little bite of everything on display. With an emphasis on spectacular presentation, the food tasted as good as it looked. From the white chocolate velvet cassis and lime cake, the lychee, rose and raspberry tart to a little taste of French heaven with the fruit macarons, your taste buds experience an explosion of tantalizing flavour sensations. And to top it off, a glass of sparkling Chandon Rose was a perfect way to toast and celebrate friendships in style.
Make sure you experience High Tea in Style at the Grand Hyatt for your next special occasion, or just to celebrate life and love.
