I am thrilled to be featured in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar Bride and love the latest edition.
The magazine is bursting with fashion forward ideas, inspiration and all round incredible wedding looks for any upcoming bride to devour.
I loved the article on upcoming bridal trends – from the runway to the aisle, they detail the chicest dresses to be married in….
1. Bohemian
Designers can’t stop musing on the 70s. From Christian Dior’s haute couture lends an ethereal air to a twilight garden ceremony, Giambattista Valli’s gypsy floral gown is begging for a fabulous Moroccan celebration.
2. Gold
Gold was the new white at the couture shows where designers including Elie Saab, Valentino and Bertrand Guyon applied guilded embroidery to their most previous pieces.
3. Tiered
Volume – always an important base to cover in the bridal realm – was explored this season with dramatic tiered skirts at Carolina Herrera, Marchesa and Monique Lhuillier to name a few.
4. Corset
Strapless styles have long been a classic of the wedding-gown genre, but bridal designers tweak the look each season. For Spring 2016, that meant corset-inspired necklines or a waist-enhancing trim such as the raspberry ribbon on an Oscar de la Renta ivory corded macrame gown featuring frayed lace and an organza skirt. Heaven.
