It was at Berado’s Restaurant and Bar in Noosa this weekend that our gorgeous staff member Violet met My Kitchen Rules judge Colin Fassnidge at his book launch luncheon. Already well known in the Sydney Food Scene as co-owner of the acclaimed restaurants Four in Hand and 4Fourteen, Colin has recently won GQ’s Chef of the Year and now he has released his first cookbook ‘Four Kitchens’.
To celebrate and discuss the release of ‘Four Kitchens’ they had a delicious four course lunch featuring sumtuous food all from his new book. ‘Four Kitchens’ draws inspiration from the four kitchens in his life – the two restaurant kitchens, the home kitchen and the outdoor kitchen. Drawing on diverse culinary influences, each page reveals his love of food and his key food philosophies: using local produce, wasting as little as possible through nose-to-tail eating and handling everything with a light touch.
